Tyrida was invited for Laser shock peening (LSP) operation

training to ARTC Engineers

  6 Jan 2020, Tyrida was invited for laser shock peening operation training to engineers in Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), Singapore.

   To reach the training target and satisfy the final operation requirement, Tyrida’s trainers introduced Tyrida’s unique laser shock peening technology and in-house developed equipment to ARTC’s engineers firstly, and shew them the normal process procedure by following sequences: starting machine, process research, process test, completing process, post-process inspection, switching off machine.

   Through Tyrida’s high-intensive professional training, the trainees have learned the basic operation of LSP equipment and LSP process research and development to different geometries and materials. Finally, all trainees have passed the qualification test issued by Tyrida.

   Laser shock peening (LSP) is introduced to ARTC as an innovative surface enhancement method, and this training has strengthened the research and development ability of ARTC’s team and also benefited various industries in LSP application, such as the LSP application to aero engine components for ARTC anchor members.
